If you’re ever in London, there’s a cool shop you need to visit – Things British, in Greenwich. It’s a bricks & mortar shop on Turnpin Lane, within the perimeter of Greenwich Market. (The market itself is well worth a visit, too , selling craft & design goodness 4 days a week, and antiques & collectables the other 3 days.) Can you spot the TangleCrafts product in this window display? 😉
The shop opened it’s doors for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I’m thrilled to boast my space in there – it’s only one little shelf, but it’s like having a tiny stall at a permanent craft fair! I love the chance to talk to people about my work at real craft fairs (not to mention being able to meet all the other cool sellers, too) but this is a great opportunity to reach a broader audience than just l’il old Derby (okay, there’s also the worldwide reach of Etsy, but it’s not quite the same as being able to pick things up and look at them in person, before you buy).
As well as my collaged notebooks (ranging in size from A6 to A4, both rainbows and imaginary landscapes aplenty!), you’ll also find a new range of postage stamp butterfly brooches and rainbow Machin keyrings, finished with magnifying glass domes. I’m really pleased with how they look, but (due to lack of camera & photography skills) these are not currently available from TangleCrafts online.
Anyway, just wanted to give you all a heads-up – and if you get the opportunity to pass by Things British in Greenwich, be sure to allocate yourself plenty of browsing time! 🙂
