‘Telaic Fantasy’ has grown! Now half-size (A5), each issue includes at least one D.I.Y. weaving project, plus random accessories, in addition to all the usual weaving-related features, profiles, book & web reviews & extracts from literature – a tapestry of ideas!
Each issue still has a simple hand-stitched binding, and is printed on recycled paper.
The first 10 copies of each issue will be numbered and signed.

- The very first issue has now been revised and updated, to a length of 16 pages (plus covers), and to accompany the explanation of where the titles comes from, includes an exclusive companion music CD (in a hand-folded origami CD wallet). It will be mailed to you in a board envelope that can be re-purposed as your RagBag loom, along with the accompanying comb and chip forks! Inside the zine, you will also find:
an exploration of webs, weaving and art- book reviews, plus web profile of Sue Lawty (tapestry weaver) and the World Beach Project
- full instructions for making, warping & weaving a RagBag loom
- how to make a weaving needle out of an old store/credit/gift card
- cross stitch embroidery chart for a simple woven motif
- various weaving-related quotations & extracts from literature
- some random weaving notepaper, plus a stash hoarder’s record sheet

Finally available in the new half-size format, ‘Telaic Fantasy #2′ is still the chunkiest issue yet, with a healthy 24 pages (plus covers), and a simple, hand-stitched binding. This issue is pretty much all about paper, hence the additional notebook pages, postcard recycling kit, as well as a brief exploration of weaving with paper. Your extras (see photo 2), which this time are bound into the zine include:
postcard recycling labels, printed on gummed paper- postcard recycling labels printed on plain paper, for you to scan/photocopy, cut & paste (so you can recycle as many postcards as you like!)
- an envelope containing a postcard template for cutting scrap card to the right size, and a randomly chosen postcard from my stash (will vary from shown). The envelope is stamped with a hand-carved motif (by me) that I am very proud of!
- custom printed ‘ideas’ notepaper, to help keep track of your ideas and notes, with spaces to scribble notes next to your sketches & spaces to scribble sketches next to your notes, in various configurations

A 20 page (plus covers) half-sized/A5 zine, this issue also has a fairy tale theme running through it. As well as the zine, you will receive:
a free mini-zine, ‘Once Upon a Time’, including extracts and illustrations from fairy tales that relate to spinning & weaving- 2 ATC blanks, ready to be woven
- photocopiable ATC & ACEO loom-labels (8 of each) to copy & paste to the reverse of your ATC
- an ATC envelope template with instructions, printed on a decorative paper (randomly culled from my Art Nouveau/William Morris collection, see photo for examples)
